These Bath Recipes Will Give You Relief & Proven To Be Beneficial In The Healing Process

Baths for psoriasis are your best bet and you can kick it up a notch or two with Dead Sea Salts.  

There have been several studies which all concluded Dead Sea Salts having the greatest success for psoriasis treatment.  This is due to the higher mineral content of chloride and bromide in salts from the Dead Sea. 

You can use Epsom Salt as well but again, Dead Sea Salts are more effective as a psoriasis home remedy.

When you purchase Dead Sea salts, be careful not to buy salts that are processed or cleaned. Most bath salts you will find have been treated and during the process the essential minerals are removed, along with their therapeutic properties.

Baths for psoriasis: Take 3-4 tepid (hot could aggravate the psoriasis) baths per week, soaking for 20 mins.                                                                

                                       Allow at least 4 weeks for positive results.

Psoriasis Treatments

Add 2 Cups of Sea Salt to hot (to help dissolve) running bath water then wait for bath temperature to be tepid.

Bergamot - Reduces plaques cause by psoriasis.

Chamomile, Calendula, Sandalwood, Witch Hazel, Evening Primrose for inflammation.

Geranium, Jasmine and Lavender - Soothing, calms irritation and itching.  Tea Tree, Carrot, Borage - Helps skin heal.

Use 8-10 drops after bath is filled, hand stir.   You can combine oils accordingly.

Add 1/2 - 1 Cup Oatmeal to tepid running bath.  Hand stir and soak for approximately 20 minutes (it's best to grind oatmeal finely or buy colloidal.  Another option is to let it soak in a pan of warm water - not hot, you don't want to cook it! - Then strain and pour the water into your bath.  Another option is a drain screen over your bathtub drain.

On a side note

Psoriasis cures are a challenge, this is a stubborn ailment. 

You may want to include Aloe Vera as it is very beneficial in treating psoriasis.

If you don't have fresh aloe, you can buy Aloe Vera gel and apply on areas in need.
