You can be losing inches much faster by combining exercise with healthy eating. Not only can this be a fun metabolism boost, remember, we want to take a holistic weight loss approach.
Before we look at ideas for exercise, let me share a few tips.
The best time to exercise is in the morning. This kicks your metabolism in gear so you'll have more energy and most importantly, you'll burn your calorie consumption more effectively through out the day.
If you have limited time in the morning or you're just not a morning person, another option may be to split your exercise time by doing 15-30 minutes in the morning and then 15-30 minutes in the afternoon.
(To Boost Metabolism) - When you increase your muscle, you boost your resting metabolic rate. Weight lifting consumes calories, raises your metabolism and builds muscle that will consume extra calories later on.
This means all things being equal, your body will burn more calories even when your are doing nothing!

Cardio - (To Boost Metabolism) This is any exercise that raises your heart rate. A stronger cardio-vascular system means more capillaries delivering more oxygen to cells in your muscles. This enables your cells to burn more fat during both exercise and inactivity.
What I recommend is a balance of both, changing it up every other day. So, depending on your age, fitness level and overall health....start accordingly. (and don't forget to stretch first) If you feel you should consult with your physician, then by all means, do!! If you think you should start with a trainer, again, do!! If you think you'd be better off joining a gym, maybe with a friend, do!! I hope you're getting the point...DO!!
